Husband to Regina for 51 years, one daughter, Amanda, grandparents of Andrew, Anna, Aaron and great granddaughter Millie.
As a vocational church planter, Richard pioneered Courts of Praise Christian Center in LaGrange, Georgia and served into its 10th year. In '89, he accepted a faculty position with Christ For The Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas. This allowed him to serve as Dean of Students and professor of New Testament during his 17 yrs of full-time and adjunct tenure.
In May of '95, during his CFNI days, he led a team to plant Redeemed Community in the inner City of Dallas, Texas. He served the multi-racial congregation into its 10th year.
In June of '05, He and Regina refuged to LaGrange, Georgia where Christ the Redeemer was launched and later changed the name to Church of the King after being gifted their beautiful church facilities.

Richard also serves as a Presbyter of Christ the King Family of Ministers and Churches.
He earned a Master of Religious Education from Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary in Grand Rapids, Michigan and his Doctorate in Practical Theology from Master's Graduate School of Divinity in Evansville, Indiana.
